Insulin syringes 1 mL, 31G x 8 mm, U-100 (pack of 10)
31G x 8 mm, U-100, pack of 10
Fixed-needle 1 mL U-100 syringes, 31 gauge, individually sealed.
What they are
Standard 1 mL U-100 insulin syringes with a fixed 31-gauge, 8 mm needle, individually sealed, sold in packs of ten. The U-100 scale reads 100 units per millilitre, so each unit is 0.01 mL, which is the scale used throughout the peptide literature and in our calculator.
Why 1 mL and 31G
A 1 mL barrel gives the widest useful range for measuring reconstituted solutions; 0.5 mL and 0.3 mL syringes exist but limit the volume. 31G is fine enough to puncture a vial stopper cleanly many times without coring it. The fixed needle has minimal dead space, so less solution is wasted per draw.
A 31G insulin syringe with a 1ml barrel is the configuration used for almost all peptide reconstitution work, which is why we stock this one size.
Using them in the laboratory
Swab the stopper, draw the required units, expel air, and use once. Sharps go in a proper sharps container, never household waste. Sold as laboratory consumables.

Quality and testing
Each lot of Insulin Syringes 1 mL is sent to an independent UK laboratory before release for identity by mass spectrometry, purity by HPLC, residual solvents and bacterial endotoxin. The lot number on the vial label matches the certificate on our certificates page, and no lot is released for sale until the certificate is in hand. Specification: Sterile, individually sealed, supplied as pack of 10.
Lot traceability
Every Insulin Syringes 1 mL vial carries a printed lot number and expiry. The same lot number appears on the certificate of analysis for that batch, which names the testing laboratory and the report number so it can be verified directly. If the number on your vial does not match a certificate on our site, contact support before using it. Certificates are kept online for the life of the product plus two years.
