TB-500 peptide (thymosin beta-4 fragment, 5 mg)
Thymosin Beta-4 fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ)
The actin-binding fragment of thymosin beta-4, studied in models of cell migration, wound closure and cardiac tissue repair.
What is TB-500?
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein present in almost every cell and abundant in wound fluid and platelets. The synthetic fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ) retains the segment responsible for thymosin beta-4's effect on cell migration and is what the research-peptide market means by TB-500. It is supplied here as lyophilised powder at 99%+ HPLC purity in 5 mg sealed vials.
What the research covers
Thymosin beta-4 has a substantial literature: animal studies report faster dermal wound closure, reduced inflammation, improved cell migration into injured tissue, and cardiac repair after infarction in rodent and pig models. Full-length thymosin beta-4 has been through early human trials for corneal and dermal wounds. The synthetic TB-500 fragment itself has not been through controlled human trials, and it is not licensed as a medicine anywhere. WADA prohibits it.
TB-500 vs BPC-157
The two are often confused because they are studied together. BPC-157 is a gastric-protein fragment acting on growth-factor and nitric-oxide pathways at injury sites; TB-500 is a thymosin fragment acting on actin and cell movement. They are complementary rather than interchangeable in the literature, which is why the Wolverine Stack pairs them. Compare the specification on the BPC-157 page.
Buying TB-500 in the UK
Not a controlled substance, not a licensed medicine, sold as a research chemical for laboratory use. UK stock, lot-tested by an independent UK laboratory, same-day dispatch before 1pm, plain packaging. Each vial holds 5 mg; multi-vial orders from the same lot keep every vial on one certificate.
Sizes and pricing
- TB-500 5mg: £24.99 (£5.00/mg). SKU TB500-5.
Prices include VAT. Shipping is £4.95 by Royal Mail Tracked 24, free on orders over £100. Ships from UK stock with the lot certificate for the vial you receive.
Quality and testing
Each lot of TB-500 is sent to an independent UK laboratory before release for identity by mass spectrometry, purity by HPLC, residual solvents and bacterial endotoxin. The lot number on the vial label matches the certificate on our certificates page, and no lot is released for sale until the certificate is in hand. Specification: ≥ 99% (HPLC), supplied as lyophilised powder, 2 ml glass vial, sealed, 5 mg per vial.
Reconstitution and handling
TB-500 arrives as a lyophilised cake under an aluminium crimp seal. Let the vial reach room temperature before opening so that condensation does not form on the powder. Swab the stopper with an alcohol swab, draw the chosen volume of bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe, and add it slowly down the inside wall of the vial rather than onto the powder. Swirl gently until clear; never shake, which can denature the peptide. Label the vial with the date and concentration. The peptide calculator converts vial amount and diluent volume into concentration, millilitres and U-100 syringe units for any target amount. Sealed vial: -20 °C, protected from light. Reconstituted: 2 to 8 °C, use within 4 weeks.
Lot traceability
Every TB-500 vial carries a printed lot number and expiry. The same lot number appears on the certificate of analysis for that batch, which names the testing laboratory and the report number so it can be verified directly. If the number on your vial does not match a certificate on our site, contact support before using it. Certificates are kept online for the life of the product plus two years.

Handling and storage
Sealed vial: -20 °C, protected from light. Reconstituted: 2 to 8 °C, use within 4 weeks. Keep sealed until use. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening to avoid condensation on the powder. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water added slowly down the wall of the vial; do not shake. Our calculator covers the arithmetic.

No. TB-500 is a short synthetic fragment (the actin-binding segment) of the full 43-amino-acid protein. Research on the full protein does not automatically apply to the fragment.
Legal to buy and possess as a research chemical. Not licensed as a medicine; prohibited in tested sport.
Sealed vials at -20 °C away from light. Reconstituted solution at 2 to 8 °C, used within four weeks.
Yes: identity by mass spectrometry, purity by HPLC, residual solvents and endotoxin, with the certificate on the certificates page.
